This course offers an overview of the music of composers such as Chopin, Schumann, Mendelssohn, and Liszt, as well as of the late Romantic styles of the composers Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, and Wagner. It serves as a perfect introduction to Romantic style for symphony-goers, as well as a complement to those who have taken classical music courses. Music literacy is not required.
